OLD MAN WINTER AIN'T GIVING UP!
This is inside of my SUV window, as I reached in to get my camera... as soon as the snow hit the windshield, it melted!
But the SNOW was falling...
This view of the SNOW also shows the new box Chuck had built by The Iron Man in Elephant Butte NM. It holds our generator and fuel. More photos/news about this box later in another blog!
Me, covered in snowflakes after going outside to take pictures! LOL!
The snow turned to rain, and now that too has stopped, but the skies are heavy above so I expect more of the same any time. Looks like the campers are all staying inside their rigs today! Brrrr!
Yuck! This was not part of the plan!
ReplyDeleteThat box on the back of the Mothership is mighty fine. It looks really nice. I'm surprised you didn't paint it green to match the truck and the M-ship. It does look good. I bet Chuck is very proud of it!
Welder gave me a choice of Flat Black, Gloss Black, white or silver....GlossBlack it is a very STOUYT box is with hydralic thingies that hold the lid open!Loveit. Made by IronMan in Elephant Butte!
DeleteChuck!!!
He is proud of it and it never occurred to eith of us to paint it green.... DUH... that would have been the obvious choice! Our snow wasn't as dramatic as yours, now everything is just wet!
ReplyDeleteIt just doesn't seem like you should have to be wearing a turtleneck and sweater at this time of the year. :)
ReplyDeleteHad a light dusting of the white stuff this morning and still a few occasional flakes falling. A good day to stay in, yet I have to start packing for my move to the canyon. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI like your storage box.
Still waiting for it to hit here in SE Utah. So far, just a little wind and some blusters. It's snowing up on the mtns, though, and supposed to hit here tonight and tomorrow. But all in all, not bad...yet. :)
ReplyDeleteSnow is all gone, grey sky and wetness remains, supposed to be back up in the 80's by Wednesday! Crazy weather! Stay safe on the road you gals! I'm thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful day here in Moab, and no snow! We got lucky this time, although we often do get missed by the storms.
ReplyDeleteYearning for Zion (as the Mormons say), but I'm pretty much stuck here until I get some cash for gas on the first of the month, then hopefully it's not too hot to come down for a visit. :)
Supposed to be in high 80's by mid week! Spring in the desert is so unpredictable!
DeleteAw nuts & you didn't even get enough snow to build yourselves a Snowman. Thought maybe you were carrying a 'Smart Car' in that black box. I'm a little slow on the uptake most times but I did finally remember to add you guys to our sidebar. Some days the more further I goes ahead the more behinder I gets............
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was athinkin' that it was jest me a gittin' more behinder!!!! The welder was great but said the Smart car was a pushin' the weight transfer stuff n it would make the rear of the truck go UP insteada' down.....kinda' like a seesaw.....Chuck
DeleteSnow in May? Yep, that's Utah. lol. I saw a lot of storms come in and dump snow on over my garden when I lived in Utah. We thought it was safe to plant. Now I am living in Las Vegas and we've already had 100* temps in the past couple of weeks. Right now though, it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I am Ginger and I came over from Sue's blog.
