  4. Piggly wiggly steaks! Can't beat'em. Had some NY strips from our local one Friday evening. We can't buy wine at Walmart's, so we have to settle for a substitute brand. Love your front yard.

    1. The "Pig", here in Apalachicola, has always been known for it's amazing steaks! WalMart "Oak Leaf" wines sell for $2.97 a bottle and not bad at all! Life is good!

  8. Maribeth, there is plenty of room on Florida's forgotten coast! Including 3 wonderful state parks! Come for a visit someday!

  9. my kind of supper ! Is that a monthly park you are staying in ?

  10. This park is mostly residential, but it is run down and nothing fancy. At $350 a month all FHU included, you can't beat the price or the view. We found out today that the park has a new owner as of this week. Hopefully he will clean it up without going up much higher on the price!

  11. Great pics and info. A question...are dogs allowed to walk on the beach with you?

I have been told most fl coast beaches do not allow dogs. Thanks

  12. As as dogs are on a leash and you pick up after them AND they are friendly, there is not a problem. Most FL beaches are very crowded and that is the reason for the no dog rule, I am sure! But here... no crowds, just a sprinkling of people on the blinding white sugar sand of our Florida's Gulf Coast beaches. Here in Franklin and Gulf Counties. Now you get a bit further west to Panama City and Pensacola beaches, the rules are different!
