VINTAGE COMES TO ZION

A VINTAGE BUS ROLLS INTO ZION

Class of 1947 is owned by 2 nice guys, brothers from PA! I don't know much about them yet, but I asked permission to take these bus photos!

Chuck says this bus even comes with tubed tires!

TALK ABOUT VINTAGE!

These folks get together about once a month, whether it's a cruise on a boat or an RV, they have fun! They call themselves the P.O.O.F. club!

Needless to say, they have a great time wherever they go!

We meet a lot of interesting folks here at Zion River Resort RV Park!  A fun job!

Reporting from The MotherShip, Geri, Chuck and the HoundHerd Scotty, DoogieBowser and Radar!

  4. The interior of the bus is still under renovation and they didn't really want me to take photos of it at that stage, but you can tell it's in the "fixer upper" stage! Yeah, the POOF folks know how to party and enjoy life!

  5. That's an awesome old bus. I helped convert a school bus long ago.

  6. Those vintage rigs are so cool to see when you run across them. The group looks like a lot of fun. If you ever get a chance to see the Elkhart, IN Hall of Fame RV Museum, it's full of vintage rigs. Very interesting!

    1. The brothers said this used to be a public city bus somewhere in PA! Fortunately they are both mechanically inclined! They had a clear idea of how they wanted to do the exterior and did it well! Not so clear on how they want to finish the interior! A work in progress! They left the Campground this morning and ya know, that old diesel bus was much quieter than most diesel pick up trucks! They got it running good! What amazed Chuck is the fact that they are still running tubed tires on that truck!
